DJ Jake Rudh

Jake Rudh is an award winning Minneapolis club and radio DJ performing regularly at one of the most celebrated clubs in America thanks to Prince and “Purple Rain” – First Avenue.
Having worked in music since the 1980s, his love of tunes from the decade is strong and his knowledge of artists and their careers borderline encyclopedic! He’s interviewed Sting, Chrissie Hynde, Bryan Ferry, Adam Ant, John Taylor and many others for his radio program as well as brought artists like Billy Idol, The B-52’s, The Bangles, Howard Jones, OMD, Violent Femmes and The Cult to the stage with opening sets.
Often called the ‘Ferris Bueller of Minneapolis’ he went so far as to recreate his favorite John Hughes movie scenes on a trip to Chicago a few years back. https://blog.thecurrent.org/2014/08/jake-rudhs-day-off-tracing-the-films-of-john-hughes/
